Donating to Youth4Youth

Youth4Youth is a free, volunteer run service that provides critical early-intervention services to young people across the UK. Without the kindness and generosity of our donors, what we do would not be possible. All donations received by the Charity are invested into running our core services that provide peer-led support to young people.

These investments may support:

  • Core running costs of the Charity
  • Specific projects or initiatives, above and beyond the normal operations of the Charity, that directly impact our beneficiaries
  • The accelerated growth of the Charity, enabling us to explore new ways to support growing numbers of young people that reach out to us

As of September 2024, since relaunching the Charity, we have built well over 500 case studies of direct support that we have offered to young people. These case studies have allowed us to enhance our service offering over time but has also demonstrated a clear need for what we are offering.

We know that young people often struggle when reaching out to adults or professionals about difficulties that they are attempting to navigate whilst they transition through their teenage years into early adulthood. Our services provide a new, innovative avenue for young people to reach out and speak to a peer. An avenue that they will find more comfortable as they are speaking to someone that is more relatable to them.

For each £200 raised through your donations, we are able to offer our services to another young person in need right across the UK. Whether you choose to donate as a one-off, or whether you choose to offer something more regular, your donation contributes to a brighter future for a young person who simply needs someone to talk to. Not only that, but our early-intervention services will contribute to relieving the pressure on existing services. Early-intervention is a proven method to catch emerging issues within young people and address them before more structured support is required.
